The 15th ASEF Journalist Seminar is held under the theme of Journalistic Resilience in a Volatile World. The program focuses on the growing challenges journalists face in today's complex, fast-changing media environment and equips participants with tools to navigate them effectively.

Who Can Apply
The following candidates are eligible to apply for the ASEF Journalist Seminar 2026.
Must be a national of one of the 51 ASEM partner countries
Must be a working journalist or media professional with at least 2 years of experience
Must be under 35 years of age at the time of the seminar
Must be fluent in the English language
Must be in good health and able to attend the full 4-day program in person
Must commit to full-time in-person participation in Bangkok during September 14 to 17, 2026

ASEF will provide the following support to all selected participants.
Return airfare from home country to Bangkok, Thailand
Accommodation for the full duration of the seminar
Seminar fees including lecture fees and administrative costs

Comprehensive health and travel insurance is not included. Participants are strongly advised to arrange their own travel insurance before attending the seminar.
