Fellowship Duration
The fellowship duration ranges from:

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be foreign nationals belonging to one of the following categories:

Important Eligibility Notes
Applicants are not eligible if they:
- Are currently studying or conducting research in Taiwan
- Hold another Taiwanese government scholarship simultaneously
- Work in Taiwan without official permission
The fellowship does not cover personal living expenses beyond the monthly stipend.

Step 3: Obtain Host Institution Consent
Applicants must contact a university or research institution in Taiwan and secure a “Letter of Consent for Research.”

Step 4: Final Approval
After verification, selected candidates will receive a Grant Authorization Letter which can be used for Taiwan visa processing.
