About the Programme
The African Epidemic Services (AES) Epidemiology Track is a flagship workforce development initiative aimed at strengthening Africa's ability to prevent, detect, and respond to disease outbreaks. Developed under the Africa Health Workforce Compact (2025), the program supports African Union Agenda 2063 by investing in a skilled, motivated, and sustainable health workforce.

3+ years recent full-time postgraduate public health experience
Scientific Ability
Scientific publications, technical reports, epidemiological communication
Language
Proficient in at least one AU official language (English, French, Arabic, Portuguese, Spanish, Kiswahili)
Note: Advanced FETP fellows and graduates are not eligible
AU citizens under 35 with public health background
