Why This Training Matters

Transitional justice plays an important role in societies emerging from conflict, political violence and other forms of widespread human rights violations. By focusing on capacity strengthening, the LPI programme seeks to equip organisations and practitioners with knowledge and connections that can support more effective engagement in transitional justice processes.

The regional focus also provides an opportunity for participants from neighbouring countries to exchange experiences, develop professional networks and identify approaches that can be adapted to their respective contexts.
