Bihar STET Online Form 2026 | Apply for Paper 1 & Paper 2 Teacher Eligibility

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) has released the official notification for the Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test (STET) 2026. Candidates can apply online for Paper 1 (Classes 9-10) and Paper 2 (Classes 11-12) from 17 August to 31 August 2026 . The STET is a mandatory eligibility test for teaching positions in secondary and higher secondary schools in Bihar. The STET qualifying certificate will now have lifetime validity . Qualified candidates will be eligible to appear for the upcoming BPSC Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE 4) .

Important: Candidates currently in their final year of Graduation, Post-Graduation, or B.Ed. who do not possess final passing certificates are not eligible to apply .

Step 2: Click on the link titled "Bihar STET 2026 New Candidate Registration" .

Step 3: Enter your full name, valid mobile number, and active email ID to generate your unique Application ID and Password .

Step 4: Log in using your registered credentials.

Step 5: Select your paper option (Paper I, Paper II, or Both Papers) and subject choice.

Step 6: Fill in the online application form with personal, address, and educational details accurately.

Step 7: Upload scanned documents including:

  • Recent passport-size photograph (3.5 cm × 4.5 cm, up to 50 KB)

  • Signature (clear on white paper with black ink)

  • Educational certificates (10th, 12th, Graduation, PG, B.Ed.)
