About the Organization

Fresh Life is the founding partner of The Sanergy Collaborative and an award-winning social enterprise focused on transforming urban sanitation in rapidly growing African cities. Since 2011, the organization has worked alongside governments to deliver safe, non-sewered sanitation and waste management services in Nairobi, Kisumu, Eldoret (Kenya), and Lusaka (Zambia). Fresh Life serves more than 300,000 urban residents daily, safely removes approximately 20,000 tonnes of sanitation waste annually, and prevents around 30,000 tonnes of CO₂ emissions each year. The organization employs more than 400 professionals and has received international recognition from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Fast Company.
