Mediterranean Riviera Editorial Portrait AI Image Prompt

A highly descriptive editorial photography prompt for a male subject in a linen suit on a Mediterranean cliffside, featuring hard golden sunlight and cinematic film grain.

Prompt

A confident young adult male with wavy dark hair is deliberately posed in a structured, layered composition, wearing a light beige linen suit paired with a light blue unbuttoned dress shirt, a brown leather belt, brown loafers, and dark sunglasses. His relaxed expression features a neutral mouth and uncreased eyebrows as he looks thoughtfully away, his body turned at a 45-degree angle with a tilted shoulder line, leaning his weight to the right. His relaxed left hand rests naturally on the thicker top bar of a worn white metal railing, fingers lightly draped over the edge, while his right hand is casually tucked into his front right trouser pocket with only the thumb and wrist visible. He stands on an outdoor Mediterranean cliffside terrace grounded by a checkered dark gray slate tile floor accented with blue and yellow decorative inserts, bordered by slightly textured, matte white plaster structural columns. In the foreground, an ornate vintage dark metal hanging lantern frames the top left, while the thin vertical bars of the white railing cross the midground. Beside him sits a dominant, weathered terracotta ornamental pot detailed with carved bands and handles, surrounded by subtle dry plant branches and green foliage, overlooking a lower weathered white corrugated roof. The deep spatial depth resolves into a softly blurred background showcasing a pristine deep ocean blue sea dotted with small white boats. The sun-drenched, sophisticated Old Hollywood Riviera atmosphere is shaped by bright, highly directional hard golden sunlight striking from the top left at a 45-degree angle. This single illumination source casts deep black, elongated, harsh-edged shadows onto the tiled floor and plaster walls from the subject, the railing, and the pot, while preserving crisp specular highlights on the subject's left shoulder, the edge of his face, and the white metal railing. Captured straight-on using realistic digital photography with a 50mm lens at f/5.6, ISO 100, and a 1/1000s shutter speed, the editorial image boasts a tack-sharp texture, medium depth of field, and cinematic film grain, enhanced by post-processing that applies warm highlights, cool crushed shadows, and a striking teal and orange complementary color contrast, elegantly framed in a 4:5 aspect ratio.
