Empower Youth Through Artificial Intelligence for Social Change

Applications are open for the Young Feminist AI School, a free 12-week online programme by UN Women for young people aged 18 to 30. Participants will learn to use AI for advocacy, policy influence, and civic engagement. No coding experience required. Apply before 28 July 2026.

About the Programme

The Young Feminist AI School is a free, fully online learning programme by UN Women designed to equip young people with the knowledge and skills to use artificial intelligence (AI) for advocacy, policy influence, civic participation, and social change . The initiative combines feminist principles with technology education, focusing on how AI can support advocacy while addressing challenges such as misinformation, bias, privacy concerns, and unequal access to technology.

The programme is practical from the first week. Participants spend most of each class testing AI tools, writing and checking prompts, and building toward a final project . By graduation, every participant produces one of four products: an advocacy campaign, a policy influence tool, a civic tech prototype, or a democratic participation action plan .
