Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) has released the DRDO GTRE Apprentice Trainees Recruitment 2026 Notification for 150 Apprentice vacancies under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
The recruitment includes opportunities for Graduate Engineering Apprentices, Diploma Apprentices, ITI Trade Apprentices, and Non-Technical Graduate Apprentices. Eligible candidates can attend the Walk-In Interview on 06 June 2026 at GTRE, Bengaluru.

Educational Qualification
Graduate Engineering Apprentices
Candidates must possess B.E./B.Tech in relevant engineering disciplines from a recognized institution.
Diploma Apprentices
Candidates must possess a Diploma in Engineering in relevant disciplines.
ITI Apprentices
Candidates must have completed ITI with NCVT certification in the respective trade.
Non-Technical Graduate Apprentices
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university.
Important Eligibility Conditions
- Only Indian Nationals are eligible.
- Candidates must have passed qualifying examinations in 2022 or later.
- Only regular candidates are eligible.
- Candidates awaiting results are not eligible.

Ineligibility Criteria

- Have already completed apprenticeship training.
Stipend
Stipend will be paid as per Government of India Apprenticeship Rules and applicable norms.
