About the Consultancy

The consultancy will assess the implementation of the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) using a Pan-African Feminist Political Economy Analysis, examining how trade policies affect women, youth, informal traders, and women-led enterprises.

The research will generate evidence-based recommendations to strengthen gender-responsive trade policies and support inclusive economic development across Africa.
