Candidates who successfully registered for the Probationary Officer and Management Trainee recruitment can now download their call letters from the official IBPS website. The Preliminary Examination is scheduled to be held on 22 and 23 August 2026 across multiple shifts nationwide.

A total of 7,365 vacancies for Probationary Officer/Management Trainee posts across 11 participating public sector banks have been notified . The vacancies were revised upward from 6,715 to 7,365 through a corrigendum dated 20 July 2026 .

Selection Process

The IBPS PO/MT recruitment is conducted in three stages:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Qualifying Stage) – 22 & 23 August 2026

  2. Main Examination (Final Merit Basis) – 04 October 2026

  3. Common Interview (Personality Test) – November/December 2026

Follow these steps to download your IBPS PO/MT-XVI Prelims Admit Card :

Step 1: Visit the official IBPS website at ibps.in.

Step 2: Click on the "CRP PO/MT" section on the homepage.

Step 3: Click on the link for "CRP PO/MT-XVI Preliminary Examination Call Letter".

Step 4: Enter your Registration Number/Roll Number and Password/Date of Birth.

Step 5: Enter the Captcha Code and click on the Submit/Login button.

Step 6: Your Prelims Admit Card will appear on the screen.

Step 7: Download the admit card and take at least two clear printouts.

Note: The admit card link is active from 14 August 2026 onwards .

After downloading the call letter, candidates should carefully verify the following details :

  • Candidate's full name, photograph, and signature

  • Roll number and registration number

  • Space for pasting photograph, Left Thumb Impression, and signatures
