Accepted Computer Qualifications :

• 1-year Diploma in Computer Application from a UGC-recognized university or open university

• DOEACC / NIELIT diploma-level examination

• Modern Office Management course from Government Polytechnic College

• 1-year COPA certificate from Government I.T.I.

• Higher qualifications: B.E./B.Tech in CS/IT, MCA, BCA, M.Sc. IT/CS, M.Tech, M.E.

Not Accepted: B.Sc. or B.Com degrees with only a single computer subject (unless the degree is specifically in IT/Computer Science) .

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

Minimum Age: 18 Years

Ex-Servicemen: May deduct their period of defense service from age, provided the resulting age does not exceed the maximum limit by more than permitted .

Application Fee

Additional Fee: Candidates successful in the Preliminary Examination must pay a separate portal fee of ₹743.40 to participate in the Hindi Typing Skill Test. Non-payment results in ineligibility for the skill test .
