The 5th International Conference on Public Health in Africa (CPHIA 2026) will take place from 23–27 November 2026 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, bringing together public health leaders, researchers, policymakers, governments, private-sector actors, innovators, programme implementers, and partners from across Africa and the wider global health community. The conference is co-hosted by the Government of Ethiopia and the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC).
CPHIA is Africa CDC's flagship annual public health conference and has grown into an important continental platform for discussing the health challenges facing Africa, sharing scientific evidence and innovations, building partnerships, and turning research into policies, health products, programmes, and practical action.
